Edition Visits Casa Pueblo Tulum
This March, we visited one of our clients, Casa Pueblo Hotels, in their homeland — Tulum, Mexico. We had no real idea of what to expect, but were blown away by the intention, design, and execution of every aspect of the hotel. Derek, Casa Pueblo’s owner, describes the hotel as “Tropical Minimalism.” Ok, gotcha. But it’s also so much more than that.
If Tulum could be made into a room, this would be it. Surrounding their open-air atrium, Casa Pueblo's 16 minimally-appointed suites feature hand-sculpted sconces, plastered walls and floor-to-ceiling windows with slatted wooden shutters. Warmth and comfort define these contemporary spaces.
